I love this email list, introducing one bird a week, and describing their calls and behaviour in amusing, connective ways. The emails also include recordings to help us identify and learn them. Each entry is usually timed to match the bird being present in the landscape here in Britain, and the emails start a new cycle every January.
It’s a great introduction to a lot of different birds and their calls, and I also love how Charlie’s sense of humour adds to the deep connection and knowledge he has about birds.
